Everybody

Pastor DaronCrossLife Blog

God loves everybody.

Because he loves everybody, then I know that God loves me. God doesn’t love everybody else but me.

God loves everybody. The entire world. Every person on the planet.

Yes, even me.

Because God loves everybody—even my enemy, and even the person I find it difficult to love, and yes, even the person who drives slow in the left lane or the person who brings 26 items into the self-serve checkout clearly marked for maximum 10 items—then I know that I can love my enemy and the person who is difficult to love too.

God loves everybody. The entire world. Every person on the planet.

Yes, even my enemies, even difficult people, even me when I find it hard to love myself.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16).

PRAYER: Have mercy on us, O God, and help us have mercy on others. Amen.

FURTHER MEDITATION: Is it harder for you to love yourself or love your enemies? Why? Meditate in prayer about this.
