This week, Cara and I are going to page through family photo albums and look at boxes and boxes of family pictures and home videotapes we’ve collected over the years. We’re going to store some of them digitally, to preserve memories. Why? Because memories shape us. With Mary the mother of Jesus, we treasure the memories of Christmas because they shape us and our world for another year, and beyond.
