Psalm 131 + Part 8 of the series “Vivid"

What does it take to make you calm and content?

My heart is not proud, Lord, my eyes are not haughty; I do not concern myself with great matters or things too wonderful for me. (Psalm 131:1)

But I have calmed and quieted myself, I am like a weaned child with its mother; like a weaned child I am content. (Psalm 131:2)

You don’t have to find quiet, calm contentment. God gives it to you as a gift.

Israel, put your hope in the Lord, both now and forevermore. (Psalm 131:3)

How can you spend quiet time with God?
