DO YOU SEE WHAT GOD IS DOING?

God doesn’t ask you to see what is not happening, but what is happening right before your eyes. Take a good look and you’ll be amazed at what you’re missing!

Notes and Next Steps
Psalm 46:6-8 +  Part 2 of the series "Joining Jesus On His Mission"

People tend to see what we’re looking for, and not see everything else.

Nations are in uproar, kingdoms fall; He lifts his voice, the earth melts. The Lord Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. (Psalm 46:6,7)

What is God doing?

We just get too caught up in what we are doing.

Come and see what the Lord has done. (Psalm 46:8)

Jesus doesn’t ask you to see what is not happening, but what is happening right before your eyes.

SPIRITUAL NEXT STEP

There’s a difference between going out and finding someone so that you can Invite Your One (manufacturing or manipulating) and Jesus bringing that person right to your inbox or doorstep, to your cubicle or kitchen, to your classroom or team. They might be there already. Pray for this to happen, and for open eyes and heart to see.

  3. What are some ways you can remind yourself, your friends or family to be more on the lookout for what God is already doing? How about starting by exiting the main entrance of CrossLife, pausing at the sign, and reading out loud “You are now entering Jesus’ mission field.”
