GOD'S WORLD OF WATER

Our world depends on clean water. God employs the water of this world that he created, but we polluted, to save us.

Notes and Next Steps
Genesis 1, Revelation 22  +  Part 2 of the series "God’s Living Water"

Now the Lord God had planted a garden in the east, in Eden … A river watering the garden flowed from Eden; from there it was separated into four headwaters. (Genesis 2:8,10)

3M will pay $10.3 billion to resolve water pollution issues related to forever chemicals, “used in a wide range of products, from non-stick cookware to cosmetics, and … linked to cancer, hormonal dysfunction and environmental damage” (3M pays $10.3bn to settle water pollution suit over ‘forever chemicals’).

This is the one who came by water and blood—Jesus Christ. He did not come by water only, but by water and blood. (1 John 5:6)

Water. First created by God, then polluted by humanity’s sin which God purified by the blood of his own Son. Now, God’s living water overflows.

The river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb. (Revelation 22:1)

Water calms us like a bubbling water feature in a luxury spa. Water excites us like water park slides or white water rafting. Water quenches our thirst and cleans us with daily hygiene. What are your 2 favorite water experiences? How do they compare to God’s living water?
