I AM THE BREAD OF LIFE
Nutritionists tell us that “enriched” wheat flour isn’t all that rich, actually. It’s stripped of nutrition, and it’s in more bread than you think. Jesus says, “I am the Bread of Life,” and promises real, lasting nourishment.
Notes And Next Steps
John 6:32-51 + Part 5 of the series “I Am"
“You have seen me and still you do not believe” (John 6:36).
“My Father … gives you the true bread from heaven. For the bread of God is the bread that comes down from heaven and gives life to the world … I am the Bread of Life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty” (John 6:32,33,35).
“I am the bread that came down from heaven” (John 6:41).
The bread of which Jesus speaks is both his human and divine nature, his real person.
Trust in the Bread of Life.
