Are you happy most the time? How often do you feel carefree? Are you excited about your future? We all strive for the good life, yet Jesus gives us something even better. The full life.

Notes And Next Steps

John 10:7-10  + Part 4 of the series “Starting Point For Our Mission Ahead"

You will experience and enjoy everything life offers when you live full of Jesus.

“We’re spending three hours a day using apps on our phone, ten hours viewing media … we’re enchanted—by the endless social media circus … we’re snagged by every new notification … My soul just can’t do life at the speed of smartphones … ‘I feel all thin, sort of stretched, like butter that has been scraped over too much bread’” (John Eldredge, Get Your Life Back, pp. xxi-xxiii).

“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” (John 10:10)

“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.” (Matthew 5:6)

“Whoever finds their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life for my sake will find it.” (Matthew 10:39)

The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing … he refreshes my soul … my cup overflows. (Psalm 23:1,3,5)

“I am the gate for the sheep … whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture.” (John 10:7,9)

When you live full of Jesus he is your safety and security more than everything else.

When you live full of Jesus he satisfies you more than everything else.

God calls us to “encourage one another and build each other up” and “live in peace with each other” and “warn those who are idle and disruptive, encourage the disheartened, help the weak” and “always strive to do what is good for each other” and “rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances” (1 Thessalonians 5:11-18).
