LIVE YOUR VICTORY LAP
Winning is an achievement that makes us cheer loud and long! But victory can fade into the past and new challenges beat us. Jesus rose from the dead and defeated your greatest enemies so that you can live in victory celebration every day. And forever!
Notes And Next Steps
1 Corinthians 15:55-58 + Part 1 of the series “Victorious!"
The enemies you fear the most are trash talking all the time. If you listen to them, you will lose.
“Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?” The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. (1 Corinthians 15:55-57)
[say this with me to sin] You. Are. Done.”
[say this with me to death] You. Can’t. Stop me!”
[say this with me to the devil] Jesus is my Lord! Not. You.”
Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. (1 Corinthians 15:58)
“Robert could have asked for pity, but he did just the opposite. He held his bent hand up in the air and boasted, ‘I have everything I need for joy.’ His shirts are held together by Velcro, but his life is held together by joy.” (Max Lucado)
