WATER FROM THE ROCK
Where does water come from? A water tower. A hose. A faucet. And a rock. Really? Only if God is involved. With God all things are possible.
Notes and Next Steps
Isaiah 48:20,21 + Part 3 of the series "God’s Living Water"
Why do we complain? Because people and situations are impossible. (Exodus 17:3,4)
Why doesn’t Jesus complain? Because people and situations are never impossible with God. (Matthew 4:3,4)
“The Lord has redeemed his servant Jacob.” They did not thirst when he led them through the deserts; he made water flow for them from the rock; he split the rock and water gushed out. (Isaiah 48:20,21)
For I do not want you to be ignorant of the fact, brothers and sisters, that our ancestors were all under the cloud and that they all passed through the sea. They were all baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea. They all ate the same spiritual food and drank the same spiritual drink; for they drank from the spiritual rock that accompanied them, and that rock was Christ. (1 Corinthians 10:1-4)
SPIRITUAL NEXT STEP
Wear this blue wrist band. Every time you complain, immediately take it off your wrist (like Jesus takes away your sin). Put it on the other wrist and say, “With God all things are possible.” Take another wrist band and invite a friend to our series.
