WHAT'S JESUS UP TO?

Your adventure is about to begin. Joining Jesus on his mission. Not in Haiti or Ethiopia or Hawaii (yet) but in your own neighborhood, among your own friends, yes even at your work or school. Jesus is trying to get your attention right there, and he does it by being first on the scene. He’s up to something already! Get ready to join him.

Notes and Next Steps
Mark 1:15 +  Part 1 of the series "Joining Jesus On His Mission"

Why am I here?

Where is the kingdom of God? There is the mission of Jesus.

“The time has come,” he said. “The kingdom of God has come near. Repent and believe the good news!” (Mark 1:15)

There’s been a shift from church culture to mission field.

“Jesus isn’t struggling and he knows exactly what to do next … while some of our churchy presumptions and programs may be in trouble, his Church is not … Jesus is moving out on his mission to redeem and restore all people to his Father’s kingdom. And he invites us to join him …” (Finke, Greg. Joining Jesus on His Mission: How to Be an Everyday Missionary. Tenth Power Publishing: Elgin, IL & Tyler, TX. © 2014. p. 22)
