“Family” is a core value of CrossLife, so we extend our reach of care, encouragement and guidance beyond the church walls into neighborhoods and homes. CrossLifers enjoy life-sharing, fun events together like attending concerts, bowling, camping, and pool parties. We pray for each other, engage in our community, and provide meals for new moms. We also operate a Christian academy on campus. These family ministries are a core value of our church mission.
CROSSKIDS CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
Children ages 3 through middle school meet every Sunday to grow closer to Jesus through interactive small group discussion, Bible learning activities, creative play, engaging videos, and worship songs. All designed for their own age level. Children learn to live out their faith by serving Jesus, families and the world. Parents, we resource you with an app, at-home activities and discussion prompts, and Facebook group support so that you can walk along on your child’s spiritual journey.
FAMILY FRIENDLY WORSHIP
Worship at CrossLife engages all ages, including children. Each Sunday at 9:30AM families begin worship together, singing and praying with each other. After this, Pastor Daron shares a CrossKids children’s message with a visual Bible lesson as the kids gather up front. Parents may accompany little ones if you’d like. Ages 3 to middle school are then led by trained teachers to age-appropriate CrossKids children’s ministry groups until 10:45AM. Kids activity bags for ages 1-3 are prepared each Sunday to give the littles some quiet activity during worship—until they can attend children’s ministry groups, too!
CROSSKIDS MESSAGE
On Sunday mornings during worship, Pastor Daron invites children ages 3 through elementary school to join him up front for a 4-minute interactive Bible lesson. This turns out to be enriching for everyone! It always resonates with the kids, learning a biblical concept at their level, and helps children connect to worship and Jesus.
