Giving GENEROUSLY
Giving at CrossLife is much bigger than a financial transaction. We give because God first gives to us, and our giving shows that we love and trust him. Your financial contributions to CrossLife Church help cover the costs of ministry and offset expenses we incur to reach people in our community who need Jesus through marketing initiatives and outreach programs. So they help us grow, but they help you grow, too! The Bible gives guidance with respect to giving. Here are some key excerpts:
Corinthians 9:7
Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
2 Corinthians 9:11
You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.
Luke 6:38
Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.
What is clear is that God loves and blesses generously those who give generously and freely from the heart. We believe this, and have seen this! It takes courage to live and give generously and trust that God's promises are true. We encourage you to put your trust in the Lord and take that leap of faith to live generously with us.
