If you go to church regularly, you have had someone (perhaps one of your kids) ask, “Why go to church?”
Maybe, you are asking that yourself as you have unplugged from regularly worshiping. Or you are relying on the Sunday morning online worship broadcast with half-attention while sipping a bloody mary in your pajamas.
You can podcast a thousand different sermons, stream amazing worship music, and make online donations to a church. So why do you need to come to an actual church?

PRAYER: Thank you for church. Thank you for the work that goes into worship–the planning, practicing, cleaning, setting up, volunteering, musicians, and especially the pastor. It’s not heaven, and not perfect, but fills my soul in ways that I cannot on my own. Bless this worship, and my part in it. Amen.
